Night Drive releases dreamy single ‘Rise and Fall’

Appearing from Texas in 2013, the duo, Night Drive, has been creating synth-pop that is both dark and energetic. Both brought together by a tragic life event, Rodney Connell and Brandon Duhon saw a future in music together. Their infectious melodies combined with pulsing dance beats unveil a stylish, energetic sound which has been synchronized in film, tv, radio and other creative work. They have opened for many well-known bands such as CHVRCHES, YACHT, Robert Delong, Telsa Boy and Miami Horror.

Dropping the single, ‘Rise and Fall,’ Night Drive begins to gear up for their new album, which is debuting early next year. In ‘Rise and Fall,’ the band tampers with the synthesizer to create a dream-like atmosphere and the lyrics reveal a dilemma between two lovers. Night Drive is a dark electro-pop songwriting team with a futuristic sound that’s definitely on course to being a sensation. The band explains, “‘Rise and Fall’ is about unexpected change as two people find themselves going in different directions. A sudden and untimely break-up. Fuzzy keyboards and ethereal textures float in the stratosphere while an energetic rhythm section pulses underneath an emotionally charged vocal melody.
