Swedish singer-songwriter Adna share new single ‘Overthinking’

The Swedish singer-songwriter Adna is back with her new single ‘Overthinking’, the first track to be taken from her eagerly anticipated third album Closure. The now 21-year-old artist released her debut album Night in 2014 and followed it the next year with Run, Lucifer, both released to critical acclaim, and over the past two years Adna has racked up over 20 million plays on Spotify while touring all around Europe.

Written and recorded during the first half of 2016 in her adopted hometown of Berlin, Closure is Adna’s most personal record yet, delving deeper into her own past and darkness than before. Closure is due in March 2017 via Swedish indie label Despotz Records.

“I believe we all have a dark place inside of us, some more aware of it than others, and we all have our own way of dealing with it. I tried embracing mine, which led to finding a home within it, but also of course – the making of this record. “Overthinking” was written about a year ago in some kind of apathy state of mind, inspired by that time and all about the contrasts” – Adna

After the release of her last album Run, Lucifer Adna toured all over Europe and has had a lot of inspiration and time to reflect on her live performance. She is still living in Berlin and spent the first half of this year writing and recording her third full-length album Closure, which is planned a March 2017 release and will be followed by a new tour. ‘Overthinking’ is the first single taken off of that album and on it we find Adna digging deeper into her own past and her own darkness than ever before.
